Our work

Liminal Collective doesn’t follow rigid service lines – we adapt to each organisation’s journey and context, offering three interconnected streams of practice. Some of our partners are working to refine existing systems to align with ecological and social limits, whilst others are shifting the deeper patterns that shape how they think, relate and make decisions. There are also those beginning to explore entirely new, regenerative ways of organising. And like living systems, our approach is fluid and responsive, fostering transformation that is rooted, relational, and real.

Tending the edges

Adapting existing systems to the limits of a living planet
This stream supports organisations to evolve their existing strategies, governance and infrastructure in response to ecological and social thresholds. Designing strategies, plans and approaches to push the edges of sustainability and climate within our existing systems.

What we offer:

  • Climate risk advisory grounded in systems thinking
  • Sustainability frameworks aligned with planetary and social boundaries
  • Policy development embedding equity and ecological ethics
  • Carbon and circularity strategy with systemic feedback awareness
  • Embedded sustainability support to build capacity and drive lasting change

Shifting the pattern

Catalysing new ways of seeing, relating, and designing within systems
Here we support organisations and communities to step beyond incrementalism and into the work of re-patterning — surfacing assumptions, revealing interconnections, and activating the capacity to see and act systemically.

What we offer:

  • Systems mapping to identify leverage points across the organisation
  • Futures labs for foresight, scenario planning and strategy testing
  • Co-creation labs fostering cross-sector collaboration on sustainability
  • Culture work supporting emergence, accountability, and care
  • Place based transformation through community led initiatives

Seeding the future

Prototyping regenerative cultures and economies that serve life
In this stream we are actively seeking partnerships to collectively uncover and prototype new ways of living, working and relating that are rooted in interdependence, reciprocity and care for the whole system.

What we are exploring:

  • Regenerative business and economic models
  • Learning ecosystems and communities of practice for transformational change
  • Long-term community stewardship for emergent change processes
  • Place-based regenerative development
  • Story work and narrative transformation to shift culture and possibility
